You can never have too many penny loafers. The Sydney from Crockett & Jones is made from a beautiful polished calf leather. This particular Sydney is a loafer that can be worn all year round, because it has the 'city sole', a rubber sole with a thinner profile, which makes it look different from a typical rubber sole. This model is made on the 341 last, a slightly elongated almond last that can be dressed up a bit more than a loafer with a rounder toe.

They specialise in the production of high-quality Goodyear-welted footwear.
Crockett & Jones produces 2 series, the so-called "main collection" and the "handgrade collection". Both lines have a goodyear welted construction which gives each shoe exceptional strength, durability and wearing comfort. This method was invented centuries ago by artisans. In eight production stages, each pair of shoes undergoes more than 200 individual operations. This process takes about eight weeks, for the handmade collection the process can take up to 10 weeks, but this also results in the highest quality and a tailor-made look.
